About Us
Monviso was established in 1968 as a small knitwear plant. It became part of the Seardel Group, a publicly listed company on the 1 April 1992.Today it is
one of South Africa's largest and fastest growing clothing manufacturers, employing a workforce of over 1500 employees, offering a diverse product range from our Knitwear, Knits Apparel and Brands divisions.
Our Design teams in all our different divisions consist of local and overseas designers, who are consistently striving to create innovative, fashionable product, with a fanatical attention to detail, while maintaining a competitive edge.
Our product ranges in our divisions include mens, ladies and children's wear. Within these areas we offer a large spectrum, from basic core type merchandise, to high styled garments.
We consistently strive towards ensuring our factory plant is the most productive unit in the supply of knitted product to the premium end of the market. We pride ourselves on our agility, quality, reliability and innovation.
We embarked on a world class manufacturing journey by joining Performance Solutions Africa (PSA) and the Cape Clothing and Textile Cluster in setting manufacturing benchmarks.
